Navajo Native American artist, Lester James, has been making sterling silver jewelry for decades. Known for his quality, traditional craftsmanship with meticulous hand stamped details this pendant and pin is a perfect example of his designs and skills. Lester James has used a beautiful, hand cut, triangular Turquoise stone as the centerpiece for this work of art.
This pendant/pin has been oxidized with hydrochloric acid. This causes the sterling silver to turn black. Lester used very fine steel wool to remove the black from the silver and then polished the silver to give it a softer appearance. This brings out the details for a beautiful antiqued old-style revivalist look.
