Calvin Begay, a Navajo Native American silversmith and lapidary artist handcrafted this sterling silver Hummingbird pendant with vibrant, inlaid stones of turquoise, orange spiny oyster, lapis and lab opal. The lab created opal reflects different colors of light that highlights the stones perfectly. The bale is accented with turquoise for additional detail.

Known as strong defenders of their territory, the hummingbird is also a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible and finding the miracle of joyful living from your own circumstances. It is also a messenger of good news. This Hummingbird certainly represents all of these characteristics.
