Native American Navajo Man in the Maze Sterling Silver Belt Buckle

1 in stock

This Native American Navajo Sterling Silver belt buckle was handmade with a traditional Man-in-the-Maze design. The Hopis are known for their sterling silver overlay jewelry, however, Sharon Cisco, a Navajo artist, has used her skills to create is beautiful belt buckle in the overlay technique that involves two layers of sterling silver that has been buffed to a mirror like finish. Creating this Man in the Maze design is a tedious process that requires a steady hand and many painstaking hours to complete. The artist has done a remarkable job in handcrafting this sterling silver work of wearable art.

***The dark areas on this belt buckle are reflections from the camera that I could not avoid. This buckle is highly polished all over.
